About Jennifer
Jennifer McDonald, CD (DONA), CPCE is a Certified Doula and a Certified Professional Childbirth Educator. She also sits proudly as a board member of the Utah Doula Association. Jennifer recieved her Childbirth Educator training and certification through Advanced Birthing Concepts and her doula training and certification through the DONA International program. She is a member of DONA International as well. Jennifer is also trained as a Hypno-Doula. She says, "I feel absolutely honored as a doula and childbirth educator to be able to share in the experience of pregnancy and childbirth with the wonderful women and families that I work with. Each woman or couple is beautifully unique. It's a lot of fun working with new people. To top it all off, I get to witness miracles! There is no other field I would rather be in".
Jennifer can't get her hands on enough to read and enjoys writing as well. Most recently she has been published in DONA International's own quarterly publication "The International Doula". Jennifer has also written for Utah Family Magazine and Utah Health Magazine. Jennifer is editor of the quarterly Utah Doula Association newsletter.
Jennifer has lived in many places across the United States, including the Gulf Coast of Mississippi, Nebraska, and Las Vegas, Nevada just to name a few. However, she spent the majority of her childhood growing up under the sunshine of Arizona and is now happy to call Taylorsville, Utah her home. There she lives as a proud mother with her three children.
